My Profile

"I am a professional artist! Every six seconds I think of my Art pieces"

• I have been a professional artist since 1995, studied Master Art at Penn Foster College (Formerly Thomson Education Direct) in Pennsylvania, USA. I previously worked primarily on Magic Art paintings; Currently I am an independent and a self-taught PVC and Metal sculptor in New Achimota, Accra, Ghana. I create abstract art pieces such as PVC and Aluminum metal silhouette and sculptures for interior and exterior use from recycled and recuperated iron and PVC scrap.

• My Aluminum sculptures are handmade with precision and detailed in GHANA! I hand grind the intricate textures into the metal to reveal layers of deep metal carves that build dramatic illusions of depth and dimension. It is sculpted entirely of Rust Proof, high grade aluminum.

• The reflections from the unpainted, silver-toned polished metal will be especially appreciated in person when the textures have a chance to dazzle you with their luminance and movement. Each piece is carefully built using the recycled scrap materials. The highly-reflective qualities are enhanced when exhibited under good track lighting or spot lighting.

• For me, the greatest joy in my work comes from turning anything considered worthless into the artwork it becomes. In this way I am showing my respect for the scrap.

• The thread that runs like red wire through all my work is recycling. If I could, I would turn all the old scraps I find into a museum of modern art. My work has developed and taken different directions over the past two years.

• Much of my current work is in a more abstract form. I know, for certain, that PVC, Aluminium and all forms of metal feel right in my hands. People ask me, how do I get my ideas? I can only reply that I don’t need ideas, I need scraps. And when I find it, I let it speak, I let it direct.

• Let me dispel a myth - you don't have to win a lottery before you can afford my Art pieces.

Thank you.
